Garth saw the A2B Metro on the Gadget Show last year and its been true love since. “My knowledge of electric bikes was limited, so I started to research this bike and others” said Garth.
Garth added: “There was a variety of electric bikes on offer, some at a lower price point; however I kept coming back to the A2B range. Its build quality and looks made it stand out from the rest, so I ordered one and had it shipped across to Northern Ireland.”
“I reckon I must be the first one in NI as everywhere I go I get people stopping me for a chat and asking me where I got it. It makes you feel like a bit of a celebrity!”
“Out on the bike for the first time I must admit I was a little nervous, but even with its weight it felt very light, well balanced and easy to manoeuvre. Even around town on short journeys it is so easy to use. I have now had the bike for just under a year and the only down side was the back mud guard breaking, however I contacted Ultramotor who informed me they were aware of the problem and they sent me out a new updated mudguard which seems to have done the job!”
“On one charge with the rear battery I get about 20 miles which is enough for me get to the Dive centre fully laden with equipment. Even when full loaded the bike’s powerful motor has great torque for steep hills..”
“In my opinion the A2B is a very well built machine that will last me a very long time. Its also a great deal of fun whilst also being practical.”
