News from Ultra Motor of their latest model, the A2B (not to be confused with the magazine of the same name). Launched in the UK this week, the A2B comes in two models, the power-on-demand Metro and the pedal-assist Hybrid.
Ranges on a full charge are apparently up to 20 and 50 miles respectively. The website, which appears only to list the Metro at the moment, gives the weight as 33 kg. It looks quite sleek for an electric bike, with the batteries not obviously visible, and could be mistaken for a chunky framed pedal cycle at first glance. Prices are quoted as £1949 for the Metro, and £1749 for the Hybrid.
