Ex-Apprentice Raef Bjayou was among those championing the virtues of Ultra Motor's slick A2B Metro electric bike at their stand at Gadget Show Live.
The bike packs in many of the benefits of a scooter, butqualifies as a bike and therefore doesn't need road tax, a licence or insurance - eliminating short car trips and making it perfect for the commuter market.
Officially launched in the UK at this year's Gadget Show, the bike can be fully charged within 5 hours and reaches speeds of15.5 miles per hour.
